Description:

Parish of Bathwick with Bathwick Hill at the bottom showing The Priory (now demolished) and some villas to the south of the road. North Road comes in from tthe top of the map with no houses shown. One of a series of large scale city maps created to help with planning water and sewerage at the time of the Bath City Act 1851 and extension of the city boundaries. Surveyed by order of the Town Council of the City of Bath in the years 1852-1853 by Cotterell & Spackman
