Description: Showing the horror of the tragedy that struck as the wooden bridge collapsed carrying people across the river. 10 people lost their lives and 50 were injured. The footbridge was overcrowded with people who had come on an excursion train from Weymouth to visit the Bath & West Centenary Show on 6th June 1877.
