Description: No. 14 by T. Parsons. Over 150 delightful drawings are bound into a small volume and illustrate designs for vases, sundials, chimneys and other stone features for buildings and gardens, including designs for Gainsborough and William Hoare. Thomas Parson was the son of stonemason Robert Parsons (1718-1790) who worked on many of John Wood's major building projects. (History of Bath Research Group newsletter 58).
