Description: Discovered in 1756; "the walls of which are shewn by the dark red colour. The detached parts of a lighter red were found between the years 1799 & 1803". Including further description of the find. This was before the major discovery of the Great Bath, nearly a hundred years later. This is the area of the Kingston Baths, the building of which unearthed the remains at the east end.
