Description: One of Bath's best kept secrets, originally built in the 1940s as a place for air-raid wardens to have tea. In the early 1970s it became a teahouse and in the 1980s it was renovated with the exterior refurbished in the style of an 18th century Gothick pavilion as the consequence of a public competition. The winning design was by Sidney Blackmore.
