Description: After receiving the Freedom of the city, the Emperor is shown the Distinguished Visitor's Book by the Mayor. Exiled to Fairfield House, Newbridge, Bath between 1936 and 1940, the Emperor of Ethiopia returned in October 1954 for a State Visit and received the Freedom of the City.
