Measurements: 8 x 8 cm
Medium: lantern slide
Collection: Loose Photos

Library: Bath Record Office : Archives & Local Studies

Description: Probably Combe Down. A trolley, containing cut stone, packed with straw is seen in the foreground. The crane has been identified as an iron bed type, so this must be a Bath location.
From a collection of glass lantern slides, donated to the Bath Record Office : Local Studies. It is possible they were created by a surveyor with an interest in Bath's architecture who was engaged in work at Prior Park, the Assembly Rooms and the Guildhall.
