A wonderful early image of the King's Bath (all baths were seen as hot then!). It was first published on 27th January 1738/1739. The dimensions of the King's Bath is given as: Length 57 ft. 10 in., Breath 40 ft. 8 in., When the Water is 4 feet ½ Deep contains 314 Tuns 36 Gallons. The dimensions of the Queen's Bath is given as: Length 25 ft. 4 in., Breadth 24 ft. 2 in. Contains 81 Tuns 3 Hogsheads 11 Gallons.
