Description: Although described as 'rough', this is a full colour evocation of the complete pavement. Irvine's notes record 'Rough drawing of Restoration of design of Roman Pavement found during the excavations of the United Hospital, Bath 1864. This rough plan was made for the use of the members of the British Association for Advancement of Science at the Bath meeting'.
