Description: They lunched at Bath Spa Hotel and inspected Fairfields, their house at Newbridge Hill which they had recently purchased and intended to take up permanent residence in. Exiled to Fairfield House, Newbridge, Bath between 1936 and 1940, the Emperor of Ethiopia returned on October 1954 for a State Visit and received the Freedom of the City.
