Description: Obliterated by the roundabout at the end of the Batheaston Bypass with Bridge Farm in the background. If you were travelling from Box and wanted to go to Bathford/Bradford-on-Avon most traffic turned left through the petrol station as it was too sharp a turn at the junction. All the Royal Blue and Bristol Greyhound coaches used to stop here to pick and drop off people travelling to and from London. A series of photographs recording the homes that were blighted by the proposed Beckford Spur - a relief road to link the Batheaston Bypass to the Buchanan tunnel and Claverton Street road system.
Photographed on 14th July 1971.
