Description: Robert Adam, designer of Pulteney Bridge was responsible for the first designs of the scheme, however Thomas Baldwin took over after what was thought to have been a falling out. Showing an early plan for the Bathwick Estate. This layout was not adopted; however, the central spine follows the line of Great Pulteney Street, terminating at Sydney Gardens.
