Description: To commemorate 1,000 years since the first king of all England, King Edgar was crowned in Bath Abbey, the Queen and Prince Philip visited Bath and went on an extensive walkabout between the Guildhall in the High Street to the Abbey, before having a reception in the Pump Room. The streets were filled with thousands of Bathonians eager to witness this historic occasion. This large set of photographs captures every moment.
