Description: Response from Thomas Howell about progress in removing the ruinous building from the southwest corner of Kingsmead Square, by arrangement with Mr. Perry. He had collected most of the money required, but the Corporation has refused to step in and supply any additional funds, thus causing Mr. Perry to stop work. Mr. Howell is hoping to receive more money to enable the completion of the work.
