Description: Until 1890 it was called St. James's Street. This is the west side of the street with 7, St. James's Street (South) nearest the camera. Next to it and also occupied by C.M. Werry is 8, St. James's Street (South). 9, St. James's Street (South) is on the corner of Abbeygate Street. By this time, these buildings were accessed from Stall Street and the house numbers were no longer in use.
