Description: Some colourful ladies of Bath, with equally colourful verse beneath taken from Christopher Anstey's 'New Bath Guide', a satire on the social scene at Bath in the mid-18th century. Identified by Hunt as the Misses Gubbins. One of a set of cartoons prepared by John Sneyd, though mostly not published at the time.
