Description: Pencil note on reverse 'Kip engraved Saxton's maps in 1607-1610 and 1637'. Meehan's catalogue dates this circa 1680 but query earlier. Costumes suggest this date. From "Britannia Illustrata" by Joseph Smith, 1724, Vol. 3. See Image Refs. 40109 and 45076.
