Description: On the far left is 20, Westgate Street, a tobacconists run by Albert Barnes. This building was declared unsafe and demolished in 1936. Sydney W. Bush & Son traded from 1 & 2, Westgate Place and next door was W. & R. Fletcher Ltd. at 2a, Westgate Place. On the far right is the end of A.S. Pearce & Sons domestic stores at 1, Kingsmead Square. All of these buildings were taken down in 1931.
