Description: Plan with key below title by Robert Dingley F.R.S. (1798-1781). These may have been an alternative plan for redevelopment under the Improvement Act, rejected in favour of Thomas Baldwin's design. The Pricked Lines from ABCD shew the Real Bed and Walls of the Bath. The Strong Lines EDFG shew the Site of the Present Pump Room Erected over the Passage, Public Houses &c. The Several Stars shew the extent of the proposed Bath and Buildings. From which may be observed that the old Walls of the present Baths will be preserved as much as possible to avoid any risk of disturbing the Springs.
