Description: The original drawing by H.E. Goodridge, Architect of Bath. Drawn in 1816. Goodridge being then 19 years of age. From measurements made in 1816 the three gables formerly existing were added to the drawing.
From the Meeham Collection. Possibly written in the hand of Henry Venn Lansdown. Written on reverse of drawing is 'By H. E. Goodridge aged 19 in 1816. The old Claverton Manor House'. The annotation at the bottom right of the drawing reads 'In this spot a ball was shot into ye wall when King Charles I was in the house'.
