Description: Copy of a reproduction, dated 12th February? 1780. Inhabited by Mr. Samuel Heaven from Gloucester. It is taken from a spot on a plot of ground called Millard's Mead, directly opposite the mills. He carries in a Broad Cloth Manufactory, makes narrow fancy goods etc. The above was for many years inhabited by Mr. Sperring who with his father before him carried on a serge manufactory, at which business the old man made a fortune. There is now carried on a serge trade by a Mr. Lockston those manufacturers with a few wealthy farmers living here makes this far from being the dullest place in ye neighbourhood.
