Description: Showing Wade's Passage. The building with the fluted Ionic pilasters is General Wade's house (after whom Wade's Passage was named). From "Historic Houses of Bath and their Association" by R.E.M. Peach, 2 Vols., 1883 & 1884. Peach's personal copy, inscribed 1898. Bequeathed by G. Laurence.
