Description: Bomb damage at Lansdown Place East after the Bath Blitz of April 1942. The flag indicates a reporting point and the base of the lamp post has been painted white for the blackouts. The repair of these buildings was one of the first jobs for builder Cyril Beazer.
The man in uniform to the left is Sergeant Chorley of the Police Specials. The uniformed man to right is Special Sgt. Harold Low (from Larkhall).
