Description: A view from the bottom of Milsom Street. How the top of the extended Milsom Street may look. Powers to acquire all the property between Miles's Buildings and nearly to Lansdown Road are being sought in the new Bath Bill. This will include Messrs. Evans & Owen and the City Club. These buildings like all the others will be swept away to occupy fresh sites. In front of the restored Assembly Rooms will be a fine noble plaza, with steps and fountains and people, standing at the top of Union Street will be able to look up Milsom Street to the Rooms - a commanding prospect. See Image Ref. 13913.
