Description: Built by John Wood the elder, this was the first proprietary chapel in Bath. It stood in the southwest corner of the square until it was demolished in 1875. From "Historical, Pictorial, and Topographical Illustrations of the Counties of Gloucester, Somerset, Wilts and Monmouth, with Specimens of the Architecture, and street views of Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bath, Bristol, Wells, Salisbury, Monmouth, &c" by E.A. Sargeant, 1841.
