Description: A few why you should vote for a Supporter of the present Government. Election poster supporting Jerom Murch. For the By-election of 7th May 1873 to fill the vacant seat of William Tite, who had died in office. Murch lost to Viscount Chelsea, who had to vacate the seat one month later, on 8th June 1873, on the death of his father the Earl Cadogan. Murch did not stand again.
