Description: Political poster using the form of a show of Wild Beasts in the yard of the White Lion against various political personalities. Mr. Henry van Hobson-Housen is a pseudonym for the Whig candidate, Henry William Hobhouse. This was the first election following the Reform Act to extend electoral suffrage to more of the general public. See also Image Ref. 15431.
