Description: Showing part of the ironwork of the altar, presented by Field Marshal Wade, which was later permanently removed by Sir Gilbert Scott in the 1860s. The wrought iron railing was brought by William Beckford from the balcony of his house at 1, Lansdown Place West. Now restored to the Abbey in the north aisle.
