Description: Known as Bridge Place until 1899. Holloway had odd numbers on the east side. The first two houses were demolished in June 1964 and the next two in late 1965. St. Mark's Parish Room (originally the Workman's Rest) at 21, Holloway (12, Bridge Place) survived until late 1967. The last three buildings on the right at 23, 25 & 27, Holloway (13 to 15, Bridge Place) also went in late 1967.
From a collection of slides from the 1950s-1980s, by Lesley Green-Armytage. Photographed in May 1963.
