Description: View northwest from Locksbrook Road past the lodge at the entrance on Newbridge Hill, with none of the surrounding houses and buildings that would now block this view. Opened in 1864, Locksbrook Cemetery has sections for various city parishes. The two mortuary chapels in the centre are connected by a cloister surmounted by a 100 foot spire, similar to that built at the Lyncombe and Widcombe Cemetery on Lower Bristol Road.
