Description: In the foreground the Co-operative Society Ltd. dairy at 21, Newark Street was extensively damaged during the raids in April 1942. 16 to 20, Newark Street have been completely destroyed. Although 14 & 15, Newark Street are still standing they were soon removed, along with all of the houses on the south side of Railway Street. This then became the site of the old Bath bus station. At the end of Philip Street the Ship Inn can be seen at 6, St. James's Street (South).
