Description: A bomb in the street destroyed the eastern part of Cumberland House, which then collapsed into Cumberland Row. Not too long afterwards the remaining part of Cumberland House collapsed, taking the corner of the church with it. To the right of Cumberland Row is the doorway of 54, New King Street, which was also badly damaged and along with the church was subsequently demolished.
