Description: This is most likely the rear view of the houses that once stood at the northwest end of the street up to the corner of Peter Street. The stairwells stood up to all but direct hits and saved many lives of people who failed to reach their cellars before the start of a raid. A scene after the Bath Blitz in April 1942.
