Built in 1841 by George Alexander, the Savings Bank became the home of the Holburne Museum 1893-1916 and was the Register Office for Bath for many years until the 2010s. Now offices. The next building down the street is the Moravian Church built 1844-1845, which became the Church of Christ Scientist in 1907, before becoming offices in about 1990. The terrace further along Charlotte Street was built 1839-1840.
From a collection of very early albumen prints and calotypes.
