Description: Bowler's was well-known as an invaluable source of supply for the kind of fittings and spare parts that nobody else seemed to have. Nothing was ever thrown away in the store, in the confidence that there was bound to be a customer for everything one day. The mineral water factory extends down the street to the left. The premises were demolished in 1969 and much of the contents removed to permanent display in the Museum of Bath at Work in Julian Road.
Photographed in April 1963.
