Description: The bridge crosses the railway. Crucially, this land is now earmarked for the Eastern Park and Ride. Detail taken from the model made to illustrate the Batheaston bypass and A36 link road during the public inquiry. Whilst both schemes were approved, only the bypass was built, thus missing an opportunity to cure Bath of a large amount of its heavy through traffic. The A36 was subsequently appealed.
Photographed on 15th November 1990.
