Description: An extraordinary photograph showing the Roman Great Bath flooded. The flooded River Avon prevented water draining through the Roman Great Drain, causing the level in the bath to rise up and have nowhere to drain. Unfortunately, this photograph was undated, but is most likely from October 1960.
