Description: The stone bridge can just be seen at the entrance to the Somersetshire Coal Canal and the Kennet and Avon Canal. Stone to assist the tow ropes around the corner line the path also. A boatman stands at the front of his narrow boat, just before crossing the aqueduct. The towpath is well worn in the direction of the adjoining canal. Copied from the photographer's original glass negative.
