Description: This building no longer exists. Built in 1880 for an increasing number of convalescent patients. Requisitioned by the RAF in WWII, it was bought as a holiday home for disabled children. It burnt down in 1971 and replaced with a more modern building, but this was sold in 1996 to make way for houses along Shaft Road.
