Description: The abandoned Somersetshire Coal Canal. The canal in the foreground is the cut to service the temporary incline plane. In the distance you can see Caisson House with its walled garden to the right, the canal workshops on the left, and lower down the hillside a 'white' track for the driveway leading to the bridge over lock 5. This driveway was cut through by the railway in 1907-1910. This distant view provides the best view of the mythical site of the caisson lock at Caisson House.
