Description: This view across the southern slopes is taken from just below Bloomfield Crescent. Twerton Roundhill can be seen (top right) and the terraces of Sladebrook Avenue & Coronation Avenue are just visible, meandering down the hill. Above these, isolated houses can be seen in the area of what is now Southdown Road, along with the glasshouses of Southdown Nursery. The fields in the foreground are still undeveloped today. Copied from the photographer's original glass negative. This box also contained a Ryvita wrapper from the period.
