Description: Auxiliary to the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. An announcement in the Bath Chronicle, 25th July 1839 'This day is published - 4s tinted. After a drawing by Mr. Wilson'. Judging by the fact that copies of this view appeared in newspapers and periodicals, it would appear that this design won approval over that of G.P. Manners (See IOB 1012). In the event, neither were built.
James Wilson, Architect, Bath. P. Starling, Sc., London.
