Description: Mrs. Rowland had laid a table for tea, but the Emperor's itinerary would not allow time for him to stay. Exiled to Fairfield House, Newbridge, Bath between 1936 and 1940, the Emperor of Ethiopia returned in October 1954 for a State Visit and received the Freedom of the City.
