Description: The Abbey Gate once spanned the street from the front of Evan's Fish Bar to the buildings on the left. Evans is on the corner of St. James's Street (South). The Stead Hostel can be seen the left. The area to the right of the street has been demolished and is now the site of Marks & Spencer.
