Description: High drama at Padleigh Bottom! Following the accident in which this vehicle has ploughed into the front of the building (see also Image Ref. 39800), there is a group ready to pose for a commemorative photograph. The individuals have been identified by one descendant as follows: Mr. George Densley, Mr. Jack Boucher and Mrs. Davies (probably), the publican's wife. The two men on the right are unknown. Alternatively, the following attribution is given: Man, second left - James Ruddick, roadman, Miss Mason who worked at Kings Silk?, man with cycle - son of Rev. Martin of Englishcombe. Who knows which one is right?
