Description: Some soldiers seem to be on an inspection parade and others are walking their bicycles between the tents. The number of bicycles in the picture show that this, like other camps to which the photographer was posted, may have included some men from the short-lived Cyclist Corps around the time of World War One. A post box has been erected in the foreground. The photographer was posted to various military camps in his service with the Post Office. This camp may have been on the edge of the New Forest.
Photographed by George Love Dafnis of Bath. Copied from the photographer's original negative. Photographed before he started producing postcards.
