Description: Autumn 1967. The overall roof of Bath Green Park, although devoid of glass and badly in need of a coat of paint, still lends the derelict station an air of importance in this autumn 1967 view. In December of that year the City Council made use of the site as a temporary car park before tarmac was laid in 1968 to make the provision more permanent. The signboard remains on the left although only the outline of the typical Midland sign remains. From a private collection of slides of the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway, taken in the year following closure of the line in 1966.
