Description: Soldiers from one of the military camps where the photographer was posted in his service with the Post Office wait at a station or level crossing, along with a van belonging to Christopher Horseman, House Furnisher of Southampton. Given the amount of equipment carried, these men appear to be on the move between camps, or maybe to France.
Photographed by George Love Dafnis of Bath. Copied from the photographer's original negative. Photographed before he started producing postcards.
