Description: This is a 1776 reprint of the plan produced in 1772, but without any significant change in detail. It shows the Royal Crescent completed, half of Bennett Street constructed and the detailed outline of the New Assembly Rooms which had opened in 1771. The plan also shows the intended development of the streets to the north of the Circus and Brock Street. Mr. Pulteney's bridge appears though it was not actually completed until 1774.
