Description: Lots of important looking men with hats and the mayor gather around the Roman Great Bath. It is fascinating to see the backs of the surrounding houses, exposed once the site was cleared for general excavation. The baths remained open but undeveloped for the next 15 years.
From the collection at the Roman Baths. See Image Ref. 35060.
